Thorough failure mode identification and risk assessment, verification & validation testing, as well as all regulatory compliance testing, was successfully completed, meeting all project objectives, targets and regulatory requirements.
Led an engineering team responsible for the delivery of powertrain sub-system NVH attributes (AIS, Exh and driveline) to target across unibody and body-on-frame platforms. Led the successful team delivery of a new powertrain derivative into the North American market which met all attribute targets. Successful understanding of team members’ strengths enabled correct workload prioritisation and delegation which in turn ensured that all work delivery schedules and project timings were met. Developed staff capability through regular 1-to-1 meetings, identified key strengths and opportunities and promoted adherence to safe work practices. Senior Attribute Engineer for Vehicle Level Powertrain NVH across multiple unibody and BoF platforms. Led the successful delivery of interior noise and vibration levels to target during program DV through failure mode avoidance best practices and completion of verification & validation testing. Led the problem resolution workstreams investigating several vehicle error states such as idle vibration and interior 'boom' noise, using 8D and six sigma methodologies. Mentored junior engineers from China and made several trips to China as the attribute expert to help solve product launch issues.
