I am a pharmacy student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am currently interested in retail and inpatient pharmacy in rural settings.
Major responsibilities include maintaining and repairing Bishop Bay's 18-hole golf course. Maintaining the course involves seeding and mowing of fairways, rough, greens, and tee boxes. Other minor responsibilities involve planting flower beds and mulching.
Main responsibilities include handling and filling medications for incoming and existing prescriptions. Other responsibilities include processing insurance claims for prescriptions.
Main responsibility involves performing blood collection via venipuncture. Additional responsibilities include responding to overhead calls (traumas and other codes), collecting other specimen samples (urine, throat/oral swabs, and stool samples), and training new phlebotomists.
The Dr. Carter research lab focused on understanding genetic and environmental factors that influence neurodevelopment. As part of the Scope team, we tested zebrafish embryos with various environmental contaminants/chemicals. These experiments use qualitative phenotyping and quantitative measuring for analysis.
