Catering Supplies
• Identify new income streams for the business through various avenues with suppliers. • Saving the company money through in house projects leading the project teams to a combined end result. • Manage all aspects of Supply Chain for a dedicated temperature brand i.e. Chilled & Fresh Meat or Ambient. • In charge of an income budget totalling £Millions in a financial year for Supply Chain, ensuring monthly targets are hit and new activity is produced to help this. • Negotiate with suppliers on best pricing for goods and products, gaining better than average market pricing. • Work closely with the Buyers and Commercial colleagues on contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring supply chain is considered in negotiations and tenders for business. • Manage supplier’s service levels into our business, ensuring company targets and expectations are met by all suppliers, if problems occur working collaboratively with suppliers to minimise customer and business impact whilst maintaining our outbound service. • Hold meetings internally and externally with suppliers and colleagues to ensure constant communication is there and to build relationships throughout the industry. • Ensuring the companies write off or delisted products are cleared properly and effectively whilst ensuring each depot’s or Buyer’s budget is hit with unwanted or customer discarded stock, gaining funding through various streams.
