Now working in Darwin for Portal Technology. I have worked in mainly permanent roles with some contracting experience. For the previous 7 years until 2017 I have been working for SunRice as a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop server and security. The 10 years prior to this have been spent consulting for SME’s and distributed businesses in the Windows Server and PC arena. My depth of experience comes from working with large and medium size businesses, developing standardised technologies and infrastructure. My Windows Server skills allow me to manage most environments and help develop new environments. I have extensive PC and hardware experience having built many servers and PC’s. I have come from large corporate environments and more recently SME’s and medium size business. This allows me to work with and relate well with staff from shopfloor all the way up to senior management, as required. My ability to research an issue and establishing options/solutions, both technical and business related allows me to manage problems and manage risk for my employer.

Senior Systems Engineer for SunRice in Leeton of NSW with onsite and remote support. My current role involves administering and maintaining 70+ servers with 2003/2008 Standard and R2 operating systems, half of which are virtualised using a mixture of Hyper-V and Virtual Server. 15 of these servers are located in remote locations. Also involved is maintenance and support for 450+ PCs with a mixture of Laptops and Desktops. Among my responsibilities are the following: • Monitoring and administration of the security systems using McAfee Enterprise suite including ePO Server. • Monitoring and administration of site system monitoring software (MOM 2005/SCOM 2007 R2). • Development of the SOE environment for the PCs and image development. • Administration and maintenance of Citrix XenApp 6.0 server • Development of successful Citrix XenDesktop 5.5/5.6 Pilot and implementing production environment. • Microsoft Hyper-V 2008 environment
