FUNCTION: Development and execution of a comprehensive quality, supply chain & manufacturing vision and strategic plan that optimises customer service and group profitability through an internal & external manufacturing network - Develop the global vision for the functions of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality - Oversee the strategic & operational planning of the group & all business processes that facilitate market demand and supply from an internal & external supply network - Secure & optimise continuous supply of medicine of the right quality, on time & cost-effectively in order to meet patient’s needs. - Support Development, Business Development and Commercial functions to get new products to market
FUNCTION: Facilitate the delivery of a World-class customer and product service which is sustainable, predictable, efficient and agile, through a supply chain network of 11 internal manufacturers and 63 external contract manufaturing orgnisations. - Deliver supply chain vision and strategic plan which drives optimal customer service and profitability - Owns the customer interface between Product Supply and commercial units - Develop the leadership team and pipeline for Supply Chain - Direct supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, distribution, logistics and integrated customer services - Oversight of processes and systems - Provide strategic direction for relationships with contract manufacturing - Manage the complexity of in licenced products
FUNCTION: Manage the Global Supply Chain across 20 vertically integrated manufacturing sites - Deliver supply chain vision & global strategic plan which drives optimal customer service and profitability - Develop the Supply Chain Leadership team & all site based planning, procurement & logistics personnel - Optimise Global Supply Chains through demand management, network planning, procurement, inventory management and logistics - Drive the 24 month horizon through an S&OP process (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) - Oversight of global processes and systems to drive efficiency and consistency
FUNCTION: Manage the delivery of world-class, end to end supply chains utilising 3 joint ventures, 5 manufacturing plants and over 20 contract manufacturers - Deliver supply chain, manufacturing and technical services vision and strategic plan for the region which drives optimal customer service and profitability - Lead and develop the leadership team for European Supply Chain & Technical Services Make v Buy decisions - Oversight of processes, systems and supply chain architecture including cash flow - Direct supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, distribution, customer services and logistics - Provide strategic direction for relationships with contract manufacturing - Manage the complexity of in licenced and out licenced (33) products - Provide technical pharma expertise for all existing and future products (commercial due diligence)
FUNCTION: Lead the design, development, deployment and optimization of processes globally -Ensure that robust and effective processes are in place to meet the needs of the business. -Drive standardisation of processes across plants (30+) & affiliates(45+) & management groups, sharing of “best practices” and ensuring that processes are effectively utilized to achieve optimal results. -Collaborates with senior level Operational, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Commercial functions in the development and implementation. -Deployment relies on building a network of process champions who will support the process in their work/geographical area. The champions have the responsibility for the execution of these processes once they have been deployed. -Processes include but are not limited to Global Sales & Operations Planning and New Product Introductions. Other as required, such as, Supply Network Planning, Inventory Optimisation, Demand Management and Sales Forecasting.
·Facilitates the delivery of a World-class customer and product service to the EMEA region, supporting a $4bn+ business, which is sustainable, predictable, efficient and agile, independent of manufacturing asset ownership ·Owns the customer interface between Product Supply and EMEA commercial units ·Responsible for ensuring world class processes are designed, robust and embedded at the interface between plants and affiliates in the EMEA region ·Champion a real ‘customer first’ culture across plants and affiliates within the region ·Represents the EMEA Region at the European Planning & Logistics Council, Regional Executive S&OP and Global S&OP’s ·Builds strong relationships with the affiliates, the plants and Global Network Planning - This position has process responsibility for New Product Launch across the EMEA Region
Manage New Product Introductions in the commercialization phase - Act as the Regional Launch Leader - Coordination of all functions including commercial, regulatory, affiliates (26), bulk supply and finished pack supply to agree and implement launch strategies - Ensure a practical plan is developed and agreed to manoeuvre the organisation to launch - Represent the business’ interests in decisions required amongst stake holders - Use robust methodology to ensure that these introductions are managed effectively - Chair the launch teams
