Damien is a HealthTech executive with 20+ years of start-up/scale-up and big corporate International experience in Healthcare IT, Medical Imaging, Cardiology and Integrated Care. Damien kicked-off his career by co-founding TELEMIS, a medical imaging software company specialized in PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication System). He took the leadership of Sales & Marketing and grew the company from a fledging start-up to a recognized and successful key European player in medical imaging software. Damien then moved to the cardiology business when co-founding LINDACARE, a software company specialized in remote monitoring solution for chronic heart disease patients. He held the position of Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member. LINDACARE is Damien’s second entrepreneurial venture. By joining AGFA HEALTHCARE in 2019 and taking the leadership of its Integrated Care Solutions (ICAS) Business Unit, Damien found a way to combine his former experiences and build a much bigger business at global level. He was also part of the executive team who carved out a major portion of the AGFA HEALTHCARE activities and sold it to DEDALUS. After integrating the ICAS business into DEDALUS operations in 2020, Damien took the leadership of Dedalus Strategic Initiatives. He supported the M&A activity and headed the Growth4Dedalus Program to accelerate the current business and stimulate the growth globally. A couple of months after the acquisition of the company DOBCO in December 2021, a state-of-the-art pure cloud healthcare IT player, Damien was offered to take the lead of the Business Operations of the Diagnostic Imaging IT (DIIT) Division. He is holding that position today with the mission to expand Dedalus DIIT business worldwide. On top of his business activities, Damien is also regularly invited in top-ranked University Business Schools to lecture Master students in Corporate Strategy, International Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

The focus of Integrated Care Solutions is on the support of patients and health care providers outside of the acute care framework by delivering innovative workflow and care coordination solutions. The Integrated Care Solutions BU works closely with external partners and the other Agfa HealthCare Business Units to create a comprehensive care coordination and commercially attractive solutions to the market.
