About

My professional interests as a design engineer revolve around contemporary Architectural construction and I am greatly interested in real innovation in design and delivery of design. I have over 30 years experience in the design and management of bespoke structural and façade engineering projects, in Australia and internationally. I specialise in Architecturally challenging buildings, exposed structure, lightweight and glass structures, façade systems, long span structures, My experience includes a broad range of buildings including airports, sports arenas, performing arts centres, civic buildings, museums, hospitals, retail developments, public spaces. It is always amazing how good architectural design engages with people. On all my projects I like to work closely with the Client and the design teams to establish the primary project principles and to work without pre-conceived ideas. This allows the best outcome to be produced. Some interesting projects I have helped deliver include; Gold Coast Airport expansion, Brisbane Airport projects, Southpoint mixed use development, Sir Samuel Griffith Centre, Christchurch Art Gallery remediation, Orange hospital, Sydney T1 redevelopment, Darwin city Waterfront, Darwin Convention and Exhibition Centre, Adelaide oval redevelopment 2011, Pittsburgh Convention Centre, Kimmell performing arts centre, Shanghai Centre, NICTA Building Sydney, Jagged Edge Queenstown, Apple flagship projects, Princeton Genomics Lab, Penn State ICT, Bengt Sjostrom theatre - to name just a few. I have had the honour of working with many Architects, Artists, Builders, Contractors and innovators of world renown and look forward in continuing to do so.
