Credibility starts with facts, not spin. I help companies with something real to say turn their expertise into stories audiences trust. I write and edit articles, shoot photos, and co-produce videos for publication and internal use, working closely with in-house teams across a handful of organizations. My writing spans finance, technology, commercial real estate, and entrepreneurship, from banking and capital markets to AI and crypto. I research each topic thoroughly, turning complex data into clear, compelling narratives. Before launching Ghigliotty & Co. in 2021, I spent more than a decade reporting and editing business news and features. My work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Real Deal, and Observer. My colleagues and I have won awards for in-depth reporting from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW), National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE), Newswomen's Club of New York, and New York Press Club. I now partner with clients recognized for advancing sustainable development and expanding capital access for women and minority entrepreneurs.
Produce sharp, fact-driven content for financial firms, tech companies, commercial brokerages, and crypto exchanges. Managed data and analytics for a compliance team of 100+ at a leading cryptocurrency exchange on a five-month contract. Supported Kroll quality assurance analysts, remediation specialists, and compliance researchers across audits. Attended daily management meetings and presented on team performance.
Taught English, social studies, and economics in person and online in New York and Japan. Helped students strengthen their spoken and written English for academic and professional success. Worked with children and adult learners of all levels.
Co-managed and edited The Real Deal's monthly magazines in print and online. Worked with reporters, researchers, design-production teams, and a dozen-plus freelance contributors. TRD's editorial staff of 25 won more than 50 journalism awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, National Association of Real Estate Editors, New York Press Club, Deadline Club, and Newswomen's Club of New York during my time there.
