As the regional athletic director of the Far Northeast athletic program. I plan to enriching the lives of an underprivileged population of at-risk teens by enhancing the quality of the districts athletic/activity communities, through engagement and achievement. • Lead the re-development of a 5A high school, including program development, redesign, and personnel changes of athletics and programs. • Provide leadership and vision on K-12 athletic program development. • Collaborate with district principals on student access to extra-curricular opportunities. • Work collaboratively with DPL League athletic directors to create a more cohesive league for students. • Supervise Student Board of Education, Student Council, and other student leadership committees. • Supervise the Student Activities Program. • Oversee the athletic and activities budget of a large comprehensive high school. • Direct the management of facility and building use at the high school and all district athletic facilities. • Respond and address parent and community concerns in coordination with the Executive Director of Instruction and Turnaround. • Working in conjunction with the Public Information Officer, maintain and post externally athletic activity calendars for the District. • Enforce Athletic bylaws of the DPL League and Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). • Oversaw the process for obtaining officials, workers, and security for each event hosted by the school. • Supervise season sport assemblies, awards assemblies and banquets through planning strategies to their completion including ordering and preparation of necessary standard certificates, letters and awards. • Collaborate with Far Northeast principals and administration. • Develop athletic league schedules as assigned for all levels of competition. • Monitor and evaluate student eligibility for participation.
