My professional career started out as becoming an electrician. Working in light/heavy commercial and industrial applications. Learning from the ground up. Starting with a flat piece of ground to a finished facility. Building after building I learned every aspect of electrical install and troubleshooting. Then, I got assigned to a crew that was building an energy plant for a Federal Hospital. It was at this time that I was formerly introduced to Direct Digital Controls (DDC) in an HVAC system for Building Automation Systems. I was instantly convinced that this was what I was going to do from then on. I was able to take all the skills I had learned as an electrician and then add the knowledge of Direct Digital Controls and relay logic to become a highly skilled Controls installer and Technician. Using and maximizing all available tools available to me to create energy efficient facilities. At this point I consider myself a journey level installer and Technician in the HVAC building automation and controls industry. I enjoy the process of working in a team, creating an energy efficient system.
