Responsible for the management of the local and regional Information Governance program – Austin, Dallas, Houston, Boston, and Denver, including development and implementation of policies and procedures Supervise and coordinate daily work of Information Governance staff including planning and assign tasks Evaluate current records and information systems for completeness, efficiency and usefulness through auditing and staff and user interviews. Recommend improvements as necessary. Conduct job performance reviews for assigned personnel. Prepare salary recommendations for approval by Information Governance Senior Manager Assist in budgeting process for the department, including the creation of budget, regular monitoring of spend, recommending and justifying purchases and expenditures. Develop and administer training programs for staff and user departments to ensure standardization of systems and their effective use Communicate with Information Governance Senior Manager on project status updates and/or concerns regarding IG matters Prepare statistical reports on all aspects of program as required Supervise information creation, receipt, storage, retrieva and disposition Execute essential job functions efficiently while ensuring information security compliance such as ethical walls, protective orders, and legal holds Assist with firmwide projects involving retention including coding, disposition, file review and reporting
Sort, classify and file physical and electronic documents Execute file transfers including Merger Initiative projects Maintain positive vendor relationships and operate as local contact Prepare and index files for off-site storage and provide reports when necessary Review legacy client materials for retention and disposition projects for Texas Ensure information security compliance such as ethical walls and legal holds Continuously update records database Retrieve and distribute files for attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries Maintain orders for supplies used in Information Governance Department Travel within Texas offices to support and train Provide training for IG Specialists

Manage and maintain Records Department including creating folders, filing documents and fulfilling file requests for physical and electronic documents Create procedures to provide effectiveness in the Records department Establish and maintain vendor relationships and act as contact for building management Serve as lead contact for Iron Mountain off-site storage; manage off-site files, provide reports regarding off-site storage as needed Open new client matters in file database Manage travel arrangements and calendar updates for Partners Provide conference room set-up including Audio/Visual, computer and catering Complete daily mail delivery and pick-up Maintain inventory of department supplies Serve as back-up and assist with IT issues.
