I am an experienced and flexible IT professional, with a wide range of skills and expertise. My most recent experience has been administering a large integrated employment screening system for a NSW government child protection agency.
Senior systems and database administrator responsible for the operation of the NSW Working with Children Check screening IT system. This system processes over 500,000 Working with Children Checks in NSW annually since 2014, with a database of over 2 million registrations. Lead technical analyst for the department during the NSW Working with Children Check implementation project. Was responsible for the installation, customization, testing, quality assurance, integration management, documentation and system rollout for the NSW Working with Children Check System.
Technical lead responsible for the implementation of an integrated front office ERP system, along with a browser based warehouse management system. These systems were implemented successfully with over 100 users, tracking and testing over 100,000 IT assets per year over four separate warehouses within Australia and Japan. Also worked within the IT department team to provide IT support to both warehouse and front office staff as was required. Managed and implemented new software development projects and managed the department's business systems analyst.
Developed a database system to allow business to capture and manage customer quotations, provide costing estimates, and predict exact materials required. This also provided the business with a database of all benchtop related materials and products. Significantly improved the quality of customer service by providing the customer more accurate and timely cost estimates based on a detailed costing model, and assisted in stock ordering.
Worked with BC Hydro’s environmental department in further developing and administering their MS Project resource plans. Provided MS Project support, created training guides, and documented processes. Role also included organizing and presenting MS Project training sessions for regional project managers, and creating macros for resource plans to be updated automatically.
Analysed workflow requirements of various departments, and worked with vendors to find possible CRM and document management software solutions. Organised and configured a testing environment for the evaluation of CRM and document management software.
