I work at the intersection of engineering and business, helping translate complex valve and process requirements into practical, value-driven solutions for industrial projects. With 10+ years in the valve industry — from design engineering and application engineering to techno-commercial sales and EPC project execution — I understand both how equipment is built and how decisions are made on the customer side. Today I combine deep industrial valve expertise with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, and commercial teams, supporting complex international energy and process industry projects including hydrogen, oil & gas and power applications, with focus on balancing technical performance, commercial competitiveness and lifecycle value. Having worked in international environments across Europe and the United States, I am comfortable operating in multicultural teams and customer-facing roles within global project organizations. Particularly interested in roles combining technical expertise, customer interaction and business development within international industrial and energy markets. Areas of expertise Industrial valves & flow control Techno-commercial evaluation & solution development EPC project environments Customer & supplier interface Hydrogen & energy transition projects Value-based technical selling Core industries: Hydrogen | Energy Transition | Oil & Gas | Power | Process Industries
Green Hydrogen & P2X EPC • Acting as technical and techno-commercial interface between EPC engineering, procurement and global valve suppliers across green hydrogen projects. • Leading valve solution definition and supporting supplier selection and technical-commercial decision making for large-scale hydrogen EPC projects. • Defining valve strategies, specifications and RFQs, aligning technical requirements with supplier capabilities and project commercial objectives. • Evaluating and benchmarking global valve suppliers from technical, commercial and lifecycle perspectives to support procurement decisions. • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, procurement and project management teams to improve proposal competitiveness and optimize technical solutions. • Supporting documentation, FAT activities and technical clarifications throughout project execution. • Process engineering involvement including P&ID development, COMOS, HAZOP participation, layout coordination and gas quality measurement topics.
Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy & Hydrogen markets • Managed techno-commercial proposal development and customer technical alignment for highly customized industrial valve solutions across global EPC and operator projects. • Translated complex customer specifications into optimized technical solutions balancing performance, risk, lifecycle cost and commercial competitiveness. • Supported global outside sales teams in customer discussions and contributed to successful positioning of engineered valve solutions in competitive international tenders. • Acted as key interface between customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing and project management across international teams (Europe, USA, India, Korea). • Contributed to pricing strategy, cost evaluation and contract clarifications supporting bid success and commercial decision making. • Supported major EPC contractors and operators including Shell, BP, Equinor, Technip, Total and Aker in complex valve selection and solution development processes. • Participated in strategic growth initiatives in hydrogen, CCUS and energy transition markets. • Mentored new team members and supported implementation of internal sales tools and processes. (API 6A, ASME B16.34, EN, severe service valve applications)
Power and Oil & Gas Industry Worked in an international customer-facing environment supporting engineered valve solutions for power and oil & gas projects in the US market Responsible for the design of the control valves to customer specifications, selection of appropriate hardware for particular application, production support and customer service. - Prepares and checks detailed drawings and releases valve packages to manufacturing/assembly. - Prepares actuator specifications. - Designe codes - ASME, API, EN - Responsible for reviewing customer contracts. - Analyses valve products and performance requirements to determine valve designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. - Maintain valve project document files. - Prepares or revised valve drawings as required. - Compiles and writes buyout specification.
Power and Oil & Gas Industry New Product Development – co-leading NPD project of a new valve, designing, cost controlling process, drawings, testing. Design Engineering – designing of desuperheaters and control valves to customer specifications, testing tools, calculation, design codes etc. Acquired basic knowledge of Project engineering and management, application and quality. Contributing to and support lean, kaizen and safety activities.
