I am a high school student passionate about math, computer science, and tech education. I'm a Waterloo Math Contest school champion and currently pursuing Google’s Cybersecurity Certificate and Harvard’s CS50. I lead my school’s CS Club, COY Tutoring Program, and STEAM Chapter, and love building projects and mentoring others.
As an Instructor at Mathnasium, I provide personalized math instruction to students of various grade levels, helping them build confidence and strengthen their problem-solving skills. I adapt teaching methods to fit each student’s learning style, ensuring they not only understand core mathematical concepts but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. By fostering a supportive and engaging environment, I guide students toward academic success while sharpening their logical reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
As an Equity Leader with the Peel District School Board, I work to support and empower students across the region by promoting inclusion, representation, and student voice. I help organize initiatives that address systemic barriers and ensure equitable access to opportunities for all learners, especially those from underrepresented communities.
As President of Counting on You (COY), I lead our school’s peer tutoring program, managing tutor recruitment, scheduling, and student support. Over the past three years, I’ve helped over 15 students annually, boosting their grades by 15–25% through personalized academic guidance and mentorship.
As President of the JASS STEAM IC Chapter, I lead a dedicated team in running workshops, interactive challenges, and interdisciplinary projects that connect science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. This year, we’re focused on preparing for the STEAM ICAC competition, promoting real-world innovation, and building a strong, collaborative community within our chapter.
As Vice President of Education for HOSA at Jean Augustine Secondary School, I am responsible for preparing members for competitive success at the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC). My role includes organizing study sessions, developing training materials, and guiding members through their event categories, whether written exams, practical skills, or case studies. I aim to build a strong foundation in health science knowledge while fostering confidence, teamwork, and academic excellence across the club.
As President of the JASS Computer Science Club, I lead a dedicated group of students passionate about programming, technology, and innovation. I organize weekly workshops, mentor members in various languages, and oversee coding competitions and hackathons. This year, we’re focusing on excelling in the Waterloo Canadian Computing Competition (CCC) and building a club-wide project, a digital social hub designed by and for our members. My role involves fostering collaboration, guiding project development, and ensuring that every member has opportunities to grow and contribute meaningfully to our tech-driven initiatives.
As President of the JASS Chess Club since 2022, I have led our team to remarkable achievements, including 2nd place at Louise Arbour's Annual Chess Tournament and 1st place at the Lorne Park Annual Chess Tournament. I organize weekly meetings, develop training sessions, and mentor members to strengthen both individual skills and team performance. My role also involves coordinating tournament participation, promoting strategic thinking, and building a strong chess community within the school.
As President (and former VP) of the Hindu Student Association, I lead cultural programming and manage club operations. I helped plan our Diwali event, which drew 500+ attendees including Dr. Jean Augustine, Mayor Patrick Brown, and Director Rashmi Swarup. I also emceed the event and coordinated with 15+ vendors, making it one of the largest and most successful events in school history.
