Supporting students with special educational needs (SEND) and disabilities on a one-on-on basis and within small groups. Collaborating with teachers to prepare classroom materials with adaptive resources to meet the diverse needs of SEND students. Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively, ensuring a safe and positive learning atmosphere requiring patience, resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Promoting inclusion by encouraging the participation of SEND students in all classroom activities, fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities. Monitoring the progress of students by noting areas of improvement or concern and communicating these areas to teachers and other relevant staff to inform individualised education plans.
