Site Reliability Engineering for MongoDB cloud-hosted solutions.
Site reliability engineering for datacenter/cloud networking (Linux kernel networking/a custom userspace network stack/software defined networks); software rollouts in datacenters using internal tooling (Go/Python).
Worked on migration of a refund/cancellation policy subsystem to a new setup live, handling data in a complex problem domain (hotel policies/availability of rooms) with dynamic business requirements, checking the impact through A/B testing. Worked with Perl/MySQL/HBase. Worked on an internal tool for A/B testing. Used statistics, HDFS, Apache Hive, Apache Oozie, data analysis/visualization in Python, internal Perl tooling for statistical experiments.
Worked on a research Erlang virtual machine/unikernel called LING (https://github.com/cloudozer/ling). - ported it to a MIPS microcontroller; - added replication of LING instances on Xen; - added networking on POSIX using libuv;
Linux client-side software: C/Mono/bash, Ubuntu/RHEL/SLES. CMake/gmake.
