Surgery today still depends on human judgment under uncertainty - so outcomes vary widely. As a patient, I endured problems due to complications and missed disease in endometriosis surgery that deeply affected my life. So, I made it a personal mission to bring intelligence to surgery so that every case can run on expert-level insight, not guesswork. Xena turns medical imaging and clinical data into a clear 3D surgical map that surgeons can use to plan as well as reference in the OR. It enables surgeons to view hidden disease and know what to expect, thus aiding surgical decisions throughout the workflow for improved outcomes. I’m a Neurobiology PhD and previously worked in Digital Strategy & Ops in Phama (Roche, AbbVie, Debiopharm). Now I’m building Xena with a world-class team and clinical partners to make precision surgery the standard. If you’re a surgeon, hospital leader, researcher, or investor working on better surgical outcomes, I’d love to connect. We’re building the intelligence layer every surgery will run on.
At Xena, we are building the first AI-powered 3D visualization and AR-guided surgical solution for gynecology, designed to empower surgeons with precision tools to improve outcomes and transform patient care. Inspired by my personal journey with gynecologic surgeries and backed by 15+ years in pharma strategy and biomedical research, I’m passionate about solving critical challenges in women’s health. Our mission is to revolutionize surgery by providing clarity at each step to deliver better care for millions of women worldwide. Together, we’re creating a future where technology transforms outcomes in women’s healthcare.
