Construction Manager Duties & Responsibilities: Ensuring efficient daily operations for the sites. Held construction and installation teams accountable for performance against specific schedules and man-hour budgets. Managed site instructions, daily diary, record sheets and other forms of site reporting. Reported on progress, problems and information requirements. Collaborated with construction administration consultants to schedule field observations. Site management resource allocation, coordination with procurement team for materials, Quantity assessment at site. In charge of creating new processes and improving communication between departments. Preparation of man power allocation. Plan and schedule labor, material and equipment efficiently and within set time frames. Coordination with Client/Consultant. Maintain effective lines of communication between implementation and execution functions. Maintain and enforce a safe working environment. Coordinate and direct subcontractors and vendors. Ensure all equipment are used within safety standards. Direct any rework of modification within the project. Conduct periodic inspections and safety tool box talks. Establish and coordinate program schedules and point out the changes in them as and when required. Supervise and participate in the planning, laying out, construction, repair and assembly of buildings, additions, partitions, wood structures and fixtures. Plan and schedule work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities
• Inspection of incoming materials based on Technical Purchase Specification (TPS) & Purchase Order (PO ) and preparing Material Acceptance Criteria (MAC) as per code. • Verification of Mill Test Certificates (MTC) of all Material with reference to codes and standards. • Making arrangement for testing material as per code / QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) Requirements. • Inspection of Base metal and joint preparation (Fit up) process before welding. • In process inspection of welding / fabrication process • Visual inspection of finished welds and size of weldment after welding • Monitoring and visual Inspection of welding activities at Shop as per approved QAP & WPS. • Checking welding variable parameters incompliance with approved WPS • Monitoring welding consumables control • Monitor of all NDT & PWHT requirements • Review of PWHT charts, NDT reports. • Witnessing of Welder Qualification Testing • Monitoring Welder performance. • Final Document review & submission. • Hydro tests witnessing.
