About

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a focus on Safety and Sustainability. My experiences include an exchange program at Osaka University, where I conducted research on photovoltaic potential at the city scale, and an internship at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), where I supported safety engineering and risk assessments for energy sector projects. Through these roles, I developed expertise in energy modeling, safety protocols, and environmental compliance, which I am keen to leverage as I work toward a career in sustainable energy solutions.

Working with Dr. André Nobre as part of SERIS spin-off, PV Doctor, in the area of PV fire prevention and mitigation. The "PV Doctor" is an advanced and comprehensive raft of asset services for PV systems developed by SERIS in recent years that is now being transferred to industry through a newly founded spin-off company. The SERIS team has completed a project portfolio of 40 MWp in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore - from large solar farms (> 20 MWp) to industrial, commercial, residential and off-grid PV systems - to gain realworld experiences and build a robust track record before venturing into the spin-off. The “PV Doctor” comprises a broad range of remote and on-site “health checks” as well as fault diagnostics and rectification measures that help asset owners, investors and lenders to verify the operational health of PV systems. The spin-off also offers SERIS-developed proprietary solutions in the areas of real-time monitoring, smart O&M, and solar irradiance forecasting.
