I'm also the Creative Director for CNVS the Amsterdam/London based atelier studio. Can make a mean cocktail or 58, a big sports fan and a fan of oat flat whites, also known to be partial to pizza!
Employed by AVEX (in partnership with FORTÉ). - Promoted to EMEA Project Lead for adidas EMEA, with adidas Amsterdam as my 'home site'. - Leading the full scope of on site AV service delivery across the EMEA region. - Ensuring successful execution of a bi-national AV services contract and collaboration for Amsterdam. - Function as the dedicated, on-site consultant for Amsterdam and as the escalation point of contact for all EMEA sites (9 in total). - Proactively aligning and creating AV strategy with client business goals and budget planning. - Remote maintenance and troubleshooting across EMEA. - Reporting to HQ in Germany for the region. - Alongside this, the duties of an AV & Event Technician still applies to me (see below).
Employed by sld mediatec as an AV and Event Technician. Working on other events and projects in Germany (mostly at adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach) and across the EMEA region. At adidas AMS, I am a solo on site engineer and I am responsible for the following list. My role includes (but not limited to): - Running events and broadcasts from Amsterdam to locations around the world. - Maintenance, installation and repair of hybrid workspaces and digital signage systems. (Samsung LED Walls, Yealink & Crestron meeting spaces, custom signage player software running through a LAN of NUCs). - Networking, network and VLAN management. - Designing graphics, presentations and editing videos for AMS Workplaces. - Dante system management and operation - Bose system management - Maintenance and troubleshooting with sld/ adidas custom Crestron UI. - Upgrading and retrofitting installations and systems to bring them to the standard expected by the end user. - Stocking, inventory and ordering supply of end user items, cables and reserve stocks. - Monthly presentation of statistics, ongoing projects and event recap to stakeholders at HQ in Herzogenaurach and internally at adidas AMS. - Continual collaboration with the stakeholders on site at adidas AMS - Emergency 2nd line support for meeting rooms at adidas AMS Across adidas EMEA I am the first point of contact for multiple sites. As a result I naturally offer first line support. I am also (mostly) able to remote access systems internally and offer second line support, and I continually collaborate with the adidas project leads on other sites and reporting across the EMEA region.
