Responsible for running the operation and continuous improving of DC processes (inbound - processing - shipping). Defining a strategic roadmap for the operational areas and implementing a sustainable approach to drive continuous improvement of the processes. Represent operations to senior management team
-Managing a team of 50-90 employees: directing work, managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development and employee growth. - Communication and negotiation with unions. - Managing and delegating daily operations to drive exceptional results, including executing standard operating procedures, managing inventory control and merchandising, identifying areas of improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing training where needed. -Delivering top notch customer experience and maintaining a strong Delhaize store culture. -Measuring key performance indicators to drive performance metrics, manage inputs that deliver results, and convey performance results for regular business reviews. -Creating and communicating an effective weekly labor schedule to ensure the right amount of labor in the right place at the right time, considering allocated labor hours, labor guidelines, and applicable labor laws. -Creating and maintaining a culture of engagement by routinely listening and responding to feedback from employees and customers.
