-District-Level Region Supervisor role to assist in the management and day-to-day operations of the practice of Family and Community Engagement in accordance with State, District, and local laws. -Supervise, monitor, coach, support and evaluate Family and Community Engagement staff. -Develop and provide department-wide professional development. -Facilitate collaboration of internal district department and external community agencies and organizations.
Responsible for managing organizational development, change initiatives, and projects. Responsible for creating resources, scheduling/planning programming nationwide, establishing partnerships, program participant recruitment, succession planning, performance management, and strategically aligning the goals and outcomes of the organization with its mission.
- Facilitated trainings and professional development workshops for teachers/staff on restorative justice and community building/conflict resolution - Consulted and coached teachers/staff and the Student Support Team (SST) about ways that infractions and rule violations can be handled using restorative justice - Developed restorative justice resources and circles plans to address violence in the community, peer pressure, harassment, healthy/unhealthy relationships, bullying and drugs and alcohol use for Boston Public Schools
