I am a finance professional with three years of hands-on markets experience across portfolio management, equity trading, and fixed income trading at Cowry Asset Management one of Nigeria’s leading investment and asset management firms. My career has been built at the intersection of markets and decision making managing portfolios, executing trades across equities and fixed income, and developing a deep understanding of how capital moves, how risk is priced, and how financial markets actually function under pressure. I am currently completing an MSc in Finance at the National College of Ireland in Dublin, where my research focuses on carbon credits and emissions reduction specifically using the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) from 2005 to 2026 as a case study. This work has given me specialist knowledge of carbon market mechanics, allowance pricing dynamics, and the policy architecture that governs Europe’s most important climate instrument.
