• Coordinating and managing the development of Outbound Transportation (OBT) standards for the shipping of finished vehicles to all markets. • Developing detail cost analyses of routes based on approved contracts and develop year-over-year cost walks, variances explanations and presentations. • Coordinate, track and report the North America’s logistics Cost Savings Initiatives, provide monthly performance updates, and reports to management. • Support business plan objectives, budget processes and develop Outbound Transportation measurement tools for reporting. • Prepare, lead, and report logistics group's annual sustainability results to the corporate sustainability team. • Help and Interact with all value added projects to improve financial performance of the logistics team. • Assist Supply Chain Management finance on any cost development requisitions pertaining to Outbound Transportation and assist with development of Supply Chain General and Administrative budgeting allocation. • Assist with cross-functional departmental assignments for cost configurations.
• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. • Works with customers, purchasing, production and engineering regarding new product releases • Support long-term FCA needs for fluctuations within the Supplier MRP Schedules. • Prepares and manages the demand production schedule for a facility serving multiple product lines. • Directly supervise materials coordinators and analysts through inventory cycle counts, inventory control, supplier charge backs, and investigating inventory loss. • Identify redline material capacity constraints and making sure all supplier’s MRP requirements are being fulfilled without line shutdown and premium freight cost. • Support customer communication and internal production scheduling to plant and operations managers. • Schedule multiple production lines internally, as well as externally with outside processors. • Manage and Create BOMs by loading newly created parts to MFG Pro Systems. • Assemble routing product structures that indicate material need on the production lines • Help execute material changes (CNs) requested by the customer, by setting up systems for accurate line of feed to the production lines. • Help Minimized obsolete material within the plant, by managing inventory potential risk and exhausting all levels before part change.
• Represent Supply Planning Management / Supply Organization in cross functional meetings. • Work with Purchasing, Scheduling, Program Execution Teams, Program Purchasing Managers and Suppliers to lead development of plans to resolve constraints for current and future production. • Support product launches through proactive identification and resolution of capacity issues for new vehicle programs and work with program teams to drive transparency of issues. • Lead development of sufficiency plans for assigned capacity constraints with suppliers. • Manage Global Material Capacity Control (GMCC), MGO, Global Purchasing System (GPS) Web Focus, and various other tools to analyze supplier capacity constraints and monitor sufficiency plans. • Develop team capacity analysis processes to identify constraints earlier in the business plan for MCY (model cycle year) 18-20. • Utilize all data tools available to proactively and strategically identify future capacity gaps 1+ years in the future • Manage implementation of sufficiency plans to closure • Support Global Capacity Management process improvements by providing root cause and feedback to key stakeholders.
