Extensive public affairs experience in technology issues at both the EU and national levels, in particular pertaining to data protection, platforms, cybersecurity, and emerging tech issues (e.g. Access to data, Artificial Intelligence, etc.). Beyond policy analysis and direct engagement, I have managed large communication campaigns, developed roadmaps for strategic positioning, and organised tech focused events and roundtables. I have held various positions in FleishmanhHillard, the European Commission's DG Competition, and Accenture. Before commencing my professional career, I completed my MA at the College of Europe, Bruges and achieved a grade of 'Excellent' in the European and Political and Administrative Studies programme. Previously, I received a First Class B.A. degree in History and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin (2013). I was also awarded the Patrick Keatinge Undergraduate Prize for the best Senior Sophister Political Science performance. I have spoken fluency in both English and Finnish, as well as a certified TCF B2 level in French. I am an avid sports fan, and have represented Finland's Senior International XV in rugby.
Managing the Technology team Lead strategy and policy consultant on data protection, cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Managed accounts budgets and strategy whilst serving as point of contact for clients. Analysed legislative and non-legislative documents around the EU’s Digital Single Market, including ePrivacy, GDPR, Cybersecurity Package, etc. Analysis informed client strategies and identification of legislative risks and opportunities. Developed engagement strategies and conducted direct outreach (40+ policymaker meetings), including targeted lobbying campaigns around specific amendment submissions. Organised Brussels’ tech event which involved over 30 key policymaker attendees, and further led an online communications campaign for the advertising industry which resulted in over 50,000 views across platforms and coverage in the New York Times. Managed both projects from creative concept through delivery.

I worked within the Communications Policy and Interinstitutional Unit of DG Competition. My tasks included: Reporting on the development of competition issues in the European Parliament, Council of the European Union, and the EESC. Analysing the amendments and meetings of Parliamentary committees (ECON, IMCO, INTA, TAXE). Assisting in drafting Commission briefings and responses to MEPs
Analyzed and proposed recommendations for the city of Groningen’s ‘Smart User Engagement’ Strategy. Conducted site visit and interviewed diverse stakeholder groups (municipality, academia, business, and citizen). Evaluated international case studies for use in comparative benchmarking and the identification of innovative practices.
Researched, designed and measured the impact of Team Up's tuition program upon pupil attainment. Managed external stakeholders, site locations, and content for new university/school marketing videos. Assisted in creating key program documents for use in over 100 schools. Identified trends in successful university applicants through quantitative analysis.
