As a senior technology executive at Nine Entertainment, I spearhead high-impact engineering and product delivery, with a core focus on driving large-scale AI transformation. My leadership has been pivotal in building high-performing teams that align cutting-edge technology with commercial outcomes, delivering complex digital services to millions of users under tight deadlines. A key part of my role has been shifting the organisation from merely "doing AI" to becoming "AI-Led." I co-led the "AI for Engineering Excellence" program, a comprehensive initiative that successfully up-skilled a large, cross-functional cohort of digital engineers and managers, setting up our teams for significant, sustainable productivity gains. Driving "AI Native" ways of working and evolving the SDLC toward AIDLC. Modernising and streamlining the Publishing technology stack, with an "AI first" focus, not only on end user features, but also newsroom efficiencies and rapid feature development across a unified platform. Spearhead the technology strategy and engineering delivery for Nine’s digital streaming platforms (including 9Now), supporting live and on-demand viewing across web, mobile, CTV, and connected ecosystems. Lead annual budgeting and forecasting for streaming technology, owning the budget and capital planning responsibilities across infrastructure, people, and innovation programs. Lead a high-performing engineering organisation across internal squads and partner teams, fostering a culture of continuous delivery, autonomy, and technical excellence at scale. Architect and evolve Nine’s cloud-native streaming infrastructure (AWS), leveraging serverless, edge, and data-driven observability to increase platform resilience and time-to-value.
