Technical lead in the development of solutions utilizing NEC core technologies (facial recognition, finger bio-metrics, etc.) for the sub-Saharan Africa market with a focus on Public Safety. Additionally providing pre-sales engineering support and building technical competencies in the region.

Led a small team of developers and test automation. Up-skilled the development team through deep dives and adoption of new technology. Worked closely with the product team to refresh the product technologies and improve the system architecture.
Continued development of the NeoFace Watch product line after the team was transferred between subsidiaries.
Developed and architected a major new version of the NeoFace Watch product line targeted toward data centre deployment using Docker and micro-services.
