Working on the EU Horizons project ICONIC, to improve the operation of offshore windfarms.
• Investigated the impact of freestream turbulence on rigid and flexible wings. • Developed a data assimilation method improving CFD predictions by 87%. • Led 4 experimental wind tunnel campaigns spanning 6 months. • Developed a low blockage ratio 3-axis traverse accurate to ±1 micron. • Designed 3 physics-informed neural networks used within the research group. • Presented research to world leading experts at 11 conferences. • Implemented data processing methods in 3+ coding languages.
• Determined mission objectives and conducted materials research in the Amazon rainforest. • Resource and testing equipment constraints, as well as the language barrier demanded innovative problem-solving, effective teamwork and leadership. • Implementing an iterative design philosophy of numerical calculations, computational predictions and experimental measurements to efficiently develop a UAV that met the mission objectives. • Volunteered to create a documentary, including effective collaboration with employees of large organisations and the indigenous people of the region.
• Successfully lead the transition of company records from paper-based systems to a database, enabling efficient data analysis and enhancing overall organizational data management • Building and implementing data analysis tools to provide insights on candidates and clients, optimising recruitment strategies.
