VP/CTO | Engineering & Product Leadership | Global SaaS Platforms | AI-Augmented Delivery

About

I am a senior technology leader with over 30 years’ experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing engineering organisations across SaaS, payments, fleet management, and enterprise platforms. I specialise in turning complex, mission-critical requirements into resilient, scalable products, and in building teams that deliver consistently in regulated and high-availability environments. I am equally comfortable defining long-term technology strategy, rolling up my sleeves on architecture, and partnering with CEOs, boards, investors, and enterprise clients. I have held VP Engineering and Head of Engineering roles, including being the first employee and long-term VP of Engineering at ProjectManager.com, where I owned the technology and product functions end-to-end and helped scale the platform to over 13,000 customers globally, including organisations such as the UN and NASA. I also led technical due diligence through to the company’s sale to private investors. Currently, I lead the Fleet Platform capability at PDI, a global mobile payments provider, where I architected a scalable platform for the US and global fleet markets and built a high-performing engineering team delivering enterprise-grade solutions. I have also transformed our software development lifecycle through AI-driven, agentic workflows, embedding AI into development, code review, and backlog processes, which has materially improved delivery velocity, engineering quality, and team effectiveness. I am known as a pragmatic, calm leader who brings clarity to delivery, develops strong engineering leaders, and ensures technology execution remains aligned with business outcomes, while leveraging emerging AI capabilities to modernise engineering practices and accelerate value delivery.
