I am an experienced and qualified senior executive, with extensive practical experience in management, marketing, government liaison, financial management, HR, Training, OH&S, IR, and reporting to a board. I have set and surpassed financial targets, and have strong relationship building skills with all levels of an organisation. My experience covers the transport, warehousing, telecommunications, mining, civil construction and training sectors, where I worked from the ground floor up into roles such as National RTO manager and CEO.
The role of National RTO Manager is to ensure that the SKILLED Group RTO, services all of its internal and external training needs of the group, with a key focus in up skilling our Labour Hire workforce. SKILLED RTO is also managing and delivering training solutions to many external strategic National clients and is playing a significant role with Government and major contractors working in the Telecommunication and Mining Sectors.
Consultancy Services include: • Core business, TNA, training, assessment, evaluation, sales and marketing strategies directed towards privately-owned businesses. Provide coaching for team members in best practise for customer service, internal and external sales and business development; monitoring and reporting strategies etc. • Business Management: development of frameworks to systematically assess and implement full business plans. • Analyse, develop and implement training programs • Project Management • Development and implementation of eLearning programs including content, work exercises assessment & video support for the TLI Road Transport unit of competencies; to support the skills short-falls for new and existing operators in the Road Transport Industry. Developed an implemented a elearning program in line with the National Road Transport package to support Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) practical delivery strategies.
Armstrongs, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivers quality truck, coach, forklift and motorbike training and licence assessment services to over 6,000 people per year, at its 2-acre training complex in northern Melbourne. Armstrongs, described as a private version of a TAFE, uses industry-based training equipment and vehicles, delivering training and assessment programs on and off site. The training complex simulates industry operations, exposing trainees to real life work experience. Client recommendation statistics averages between 60% and 70% per year, with a reputation as a provider of the highest quality training, expertise and professionalism.
