London Area, United Kingdom
I have been an economist within the Investment Strategy team at Nest since 2019. Previously, I worked as an economist with the Department for Work and Pensions where I advised policy-making. I hold an MA in Economics from University of Glasgow and a MSc in International Development Economics from University of Manchester.
Provided regional economic overviews as well as identifying relevant market intelligence and trends in the sports hospitality market. Along with this, the research identified important and growing sectors within each area and presented a strategy for targeting companies to approach with a strategic fit with MCFC.
My main project was to review and produce ideas to rejuvenate the company website. I produced an extensive report outlining the shortcomings of the current website and solutions to these, as well as a new website layout and content ideas. This was based on comprehensive market research and collaborating with other team members and departments. Alongside this, I aided with the creation of presentations for key events, such as the AGM, and I was responsible for keeping track of press releases within the pharmaceutical industry after key events.
