    Responsible for maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of all HRH offshore advanced gas detection, sampling and pumping systems to component level as well as installation and commissioning of the equipment. Working on a variety of equipment such as 3-phase motors, electrical isolators, pneumatic systems, peristaltic and diaphragm pumps, intrinsically safe circuits, mass spectrometers, gas detectors, electrical control panels, purged systems and data acquisition units. Also responsible for preparing the certification folders and associated paperwork for third party inspection, maintaining the ATEX quality management system and all workshop risk assessments. As part of the R&D team, the design and building of HRH products such as gas-in-mud detectors and constant volume degassers. This involved everything from initial concept, component selection, PCB design, 2D CAD drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, manufacturing and testing. Also responsible for ensuring all paperwork is in order and products comply with the relevant ATEX standards as well as taking them through the ATEX certification process.
