About

I am a passionate executive leader that equally enjoys technology and building highly performing teams. One of my key mantras is that a critical benchmark of an organization is its ability to deliver quality software as effectively and efficiently as possible. I believe that technology for the sake of technology is a waste of time but using technology to solve critical customer and business challenges has to be a core differentiator of who we are. As an executive leader, I will work to establish a technical vision and identify the key enablers to reaching this vision. This vision will include the core technologies, patterns and anti-patterns, and the organizational structure necessary to support it. My goal is to always give the organization the direction necessary to make their own decisions that will align with the greater strategy. I am not an ivory tower style of leader and I look to build a culture that is very hands-on, challenging, but not competitive. As part of that culture I expect to get into the technology, contribute, and will be very involved in understanding technical challenges with any critical initiatives.

Prior to Reddiyo, I have always had a strong focus on open source I have lead technology divisions through massive industry disruptions. This includes the media industry as it shifted from traditional delivery models to streaming and IP based delivery. Prior to that I helped the publishing sector to shift from a paper based model into a completely digital delivery model. These changes were technological, organizational, and operational in nature.
