Directly supervise between 5-20 employees at any given time. Work effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, Inspectors, Subcontractors, and other industry professionals. Supervise and manage daily operations and oversee construction in progress, including heavy equipment, traffic control, and directing and coordinating all trucking used to move supplies/debris to and from jobsite as necessary. Responsible for examining and inspecting work in progress, equipment, and construction site to verify safety and ensure specifications are to standard. Order necessary supplies required for scope of work, including asphalt, back fill/grading material, rock, dirt, trucking, equipment, etc. • Hold daily safety meetings with crew members and ensure all crew members have the proper PPE before commencing work each morning. • Operate heavy equipment as necessary, including but not limited to: power broom, skid steer bob cat, front end loader, rubber tire backhoe, rubber tire breaker, and asphalt /base rollers. • Complete all paperwork associated with daily operations, including: time sheets, current records of all safety meetings, equipment use, job quantities, and truck times. • Directed, and coordinate crew in installation of asphalt patching, mill support, base work when necessary, dig out, removing /installing water, sewerage, & drainage piping, back-fill/install/remove necessary shoring as required, verify all trenches are back-filled in lifts and compacted according to spec.. • Shoot elevation and set up pipe laser with correct grades and slopes per specific job requirements.
