Programming has opened the door to a world of problems. With those problems also came to the ability to solve a great deal of complex problems. When I first took my intro level computer science course, I thought it would be a nice skill to add to my physics studies but I was wrong. It opened a whole new passion of mine. I have found nothing to be more satisfying than to finally have compiling and working code after hours of wanting to pull my hair out. There is a certain joy in solving problems that you originally thought to be impossible. The experiences throughout my schooling and research have prepared me to solve many problems I could never dream of attempting a few years prior. It has even given be a skillset that allows me to discover answers to problems that would originally stump me through proper research in the correct channels. I am excited to continue to expand the boarders of my knowledge.
Taught students the thought process of solving Physics and Astronomy problems. Provided them opportunities and challenges to hone their problem solving skills, and explained material in a relatable way when needed.
Provided students valuable lab skills and taught them proper procedures in Lab. Helped to hone their data analysis skills through guidance and proper training.
Continued simulation research from X-Sig Research fellowship that culminated in a 20 page research paper.
