I have also helped in providing training and coaching at my local coastal rowing clubs, and coached the 2022 winning Ladies team ‘Full Throttle’ who won the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 3,000 mile Atlantic Ocean row. In 2020, I completed a virtual row of the Atlantic Ocean marking the Mayflower 400, completing 3150 miles in just 47 days on a rowing machine raising over £1,000 for charity. The Wave – The Coastal & Offshore Rowing Magazine (The Wave Rowing) is a not-for-profit free rowing e-magazine that is purely to help promote, highlight, publicise, and help in any way it can raising the awareness to the coastal, offshore, and ocean rowing activities, its clubs, community and charities in supporting them in an inclusive manner. With contributions from national and International governing bodies including World Rowing, British Rowing, Irish Rowing, US Rowing, and more… plus featured content from the organisers of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge and more! In 2021, The Wave Rowing became partners with the world leading ocean rowing boat manufacturer Rannoch Adventure, and World Championship winning boat manufacturer Swift Racing. This is a not-for-profit magazine; all money goes towards the running cost of the website and e-magazine production including materials to help in the production of providing content and promotion of The Wave Rowing; monies raised beyond the running costs will then go back to the sport through sponsorship and/or grants. We all have one thing in common... we love being on the water. I want this magazine to help open new doors for people no matter their age or ability Coastal and Offshore rowing clubs are at the heart of some coastal communities consisting of dedicated volunteers. These clubs and leagues - some of which are struggling for survival, need a platform and I hope to be able to raise awareness and help make them attractive to sponsors through exposure. Sharing news, your stories, your results and achievements, pictures and more. Together we can grow our passion for the sport and hopefully make a splash that our future generations can enjoy. With a growing subscriber base, over 10,000 hits per issue, The Wave Rowing is fast becoming THE magazine for all things Coastal, Offshore and Ocean Rowing. www.thewaverowing.com
