Remit to manage daily operations in relation to parts procurement, maintenance, servicing & repairs for a fleet of 55 000 military vehicles, operating an outdoor warehouse facility • Team Management o Managing a team of 5 FTE direct reports – operations, part distribution managers o 360 management – setting & monitoring of KPIs, targets, performance management o Training & mentorship, supporting managers to achieve operational excellence across their own teams • Budget Management | Inventory o Accountable for large budget management valued at +- USD 40mil per annum o Quarterly spend plans based on current & future stock requirements o Completing daily perpetual stock take & variance investigations • Supply Chain Management o Working closely with 5 main Dubai based suppliers, generating quotes, managing costs & tracking delivery based on lead time, ensuring a 95% mobilized fleet o Sourcing and procurement of parts across various models (+- 25 brands, both military, and commercial) o Ensuring incoming delivery of parts are correctly allocated into stock (5-6 x 40ft containers per day) received and delivered to 12 sites across Kabul, and regional locations (+- 260 tons moved per annum via both, road and airfreight) o Oversight of logistics & transportation through outsourced service providers
