I blame my mom for giving me the gift of communication. No matter where she went we could account on an extra 20 minutes being added to the trip for mom's excitement to talk to people. As I have grown older the realization dawned on me that I too need an extra 20 minutes everywhere I go Because, like my mother, I couldn't resist the urge to Communicate with people. Through; 10 years of retail, 6 years being retail leadership, Google UX design professional Certification through Merit America, and being a parent, I've learned we were so natural at it Because we are good listeners. I've Learned a lot about people by Listening to the way they express whatever was on their mind, defining Problems not just from words, but their actions. Although I may have a natural connection with people, Thanks mom, I wouldn't have been able to come to this realization unless I was able to identify my own bias to put it aside and learn.
