Lead cross-functional teams and integrated product teams (IPTs) from initiation through closeout, serving as primary interface with customers, executives, and suppliers. Responsible for management of complex programs within the Airbus U.S. Space Systems (LOB) portfolio of space programs. Responsible for coordinating work of program functions, & ensures all requirements are satisfied. Provides support to strategy and business development team on customer requests, capture and proposal efforts, to win business and increase revenues on new/existing programs. ■ Responsible for program management, including technical, cost, schedule and risk management for high value/high complexity/large programs. ■ Manages project planning, cost, schedule and provides regular updates to Space Systems executive level leadership ■ Provides daily project direction and support. Coordinates with team members to plan, update, and execute program plans against cost and schedule, risks and risk mitigation, and within budget. ■ Develops detailed WBS, manages project costs with EVMS. ■ Develops schedules, defines task dependencies, critical paths, and resources allocation requirements. ■ Identifies issues or delays and recommends corrective actions as needed. Responsible for full lifecycle support from proposal to installation for the Spectral Solutions Group, on Communication links to the SBIRS Missile Defense system. Leads a small team of engineers to complete program objectives/milestones, while managing cost, schedule and requirements, managing earned value management systems with finance teams, and subcontractors.
