Work with retail, wholesale and licensing clients to define direction that catalyzes coordination across departments through oversight of all aspects of Business Development in consumer products & services. Business Development and Sales Consultant. Defined, developed, and executed a strategy for new business within the TJX and Ross off price tier of business. Opened, set up and led APS El Salvador through supplier set up and all levels of factory approvals for the Nordstrom owned Zella Brand. Set up and managed design and product development WIP (work in process) system. Worked with internal executives on financial and production plans.
Set up and streamlined operations through significant reduction in staff, with the introduction and integration of new systems: Quickbooks, Apparel Magic & Joor, in relation to Sales, Production, Tech Services, and Accounting. Exhibited strong leadership building these processes, focusing on operations that support new business brands and channels of distribution. New business opportunities created includes tweens, opening price point within national off price retailers, boutique sales for two contemporary brands, A La Plage and Q+A Los Angeles. Shared valuable professional advise while reporting directly to President, during relaunch and repositioning of Recycled Karma Brands. Streamlined operations through significant reduction in old inventory. Exhibited strong leadership and professional insight by mending previously strained relationships with Tilly’s, Pac Sun, Nord Rack, and TJX, while focusing on creation and nurturing of new accounts with Belk, F21, Ross.
