Facility Manager of the Document and Information Management Center (DIMC) facility, coordinating onboarding, maintenance, tenant improvements, and space planning. Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing, evaluating, and directing the workload of professional and technical staff completing administrative and operational support functions in the Administrative Office including bill analysis, budgets, hiring, personnel, purchasing, contracts, facilities, fleet, accounting, Public Record Act requests, record retention, and inventory. Identify gaps in processes and procedures in order to formulate solutions that are in-line with division and department goals and values, correcting operational issues. Assign statewide projects, establish priorities, and monitor work progress based on divisional directives. Act as the division’s subject matter expert in administrative areas and provide recommendations across a broad spectrum of situations. Communicate effectively with staff at various levels as well as external agencies and the public. Exercise initiative and act independently to effectively manage projects to meet strict deadlines. Use discretion and confidentiality due to the sensitivity of documents handled. Review and approve assignments, correspondence, reports, and timesheets. Monitor and assess the training and development needs of direct-report staff. Evaluate staff performance, manage personnel issues, and coach and mentor staff to develop a productive work environment free of conflict, discrimination, and harassment.
