Within this role I: • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, addressing inquiries effectively, and leveraging data-driven insights to understand customer preferences and drive sales. • Have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills due to its’ client-facing nature. • Consistently exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and deep knowledge of Adidas products and brand. • Often personally process upwards of 150 daily transactions and £5,000 of product efficiently at till point; with attention to detail and ensuring accurate cash handling. • Collaborate with team members to streamline store operations and influence overall sales and revenue growth. •Stay informed on product trends, and market conditions, fostering a mindset of continuous learning and adaptability. Notable achievements within this role: • Current holder of the store record for daily survey quantity/score metric at 125 in a day. • Have been awarded multiple performance-based awards within the store, for displaying qualities such as customer service, innovation and efficiency.
Selected to attend Societe Generale’s Early Careers Insight Morning at the firm’s UK headquarters in Canary Wharf. The programme offered an inside look into the bank’s culture, business areas, and approach to innovation and sustainability. Key highlights included: • Hearing from John Thirard (Chief of Staff, Global Markets UK) on key SG values of team spirit, innovation, commitment, and responsibility, and the global opportunities within the firm. • Gaining insights from Kokou Agbo Bloua (Global Head of Economics & Head of UK Research) on topics such as ESG integration and the future of sustainable finance. • Engaging in a panel discussion with leaders across Legal, Compliance, and Capital Markets on AI, risk, and career development. • Networking with graduates who shared experiences from SG’s Graduate Programme and advice on applications and early careers. The experience provided a holistic understanding of SG’s global operations and the collaborative, forward-thinking culture that underpins its success.
Attended an insight day at the Department for Transport, offering a behind-the-scenes look at policymaking and project delivery in the UK Civil Service. The programme included: • Personal career stories from Fiona Jackson and John Hall, reflecting on routes into the Civil Service and progression from operational roles to leadership. • A guided office tour with teams including Rail Analysis, Aviation Security, the Private Office, and Project Delivery. • A policy simulation exercise exploring how legislation is shaped and challenged. • Insight into civil service entry routes including the Fast Stream and main recruitment schemes. The experience deepened my understanding of how government departments function and highlighted the diverse career opportunities within public service.
As Team Liaison within the Qnomics Programme, I led the coordination of a research-based presentation designed for an SME client, highlighting the importance of ESG in finance—specifically within the Investment Banking sector. Our team conducted in-depth research, synthesised industry data, and translated complex ESG concepts into actionable insights for the client. We had the valuable opportunity to collaborate with Natalie Wong, an ESG professional from EY, who provided training on ESG principles and reporting frameworks. Her expert feedback on our drafts was instrumental in refining our content. This experience deepened my understanding of ESG’s role in finance and sharpened my ability to communicate sustainability insights with clarity and impact.
