About

I believe for a young person to truly thrive, we have to look at the whole picture. Wellbeing isn’t found in a single intervention; it’s found at the intersection of movement, mental resilience, and the habits that fuel us. The "Why" Behind My Work - My journey has been driven by a fascination with the human spirit’s capacity for resilience. Whether I’m working through the lens of a Clinical Exercise Physiologist or exploring the complexities of Addictions and Nutrition, my goal is always the same: to empower individuals to take ownership of their health and happiness. I don’t just want to help people "get by"—I want to help them build a foundation for a life they are excited to live. What I Bring to the Table - I bridge the gap between scientific evidence and human connection. My multidisciplinary background allows me to offer a "triple-threat" approach to youth development and human services: * The Clinical Foundation: Using Exercise Physiology to foster physical confidence and regulate the nervous system through movement. * The Psychological Depth: Applying a trauma-informed lens—backed by my studies in Addiction studies—to understand coping mechanisms and support behavioural change with empathy. * The Holistic Pillar: Using Nutrition science to address the "food-mood" connection, providing practical life skills that improve emotional regulation. The Collaborative Edge - I am a firm advocate for co-design and community capacity building. I believe the best programs are the ones where participants have a seat at the table. I am committed to social equity, integrity, cultural safety, and radical inclusion. Let’s Connect - I am always looking to connect with fellow "bold idea" thinkers in the youth work, health science, and community development spaces. If you’re passionate about building resilient, inclusive communities—or if you just want to talk about the future of holistic wellbeing—let’s start a conversation.
