• Work with business owners through the sale of their business. This involves working with business owner and/or board of directors to identifying highlights in the business and preparing a confidential prospectus. Work sell side of deal; identify and engage strategic buyers, field questions and formulate proposed answers, review and negotiate letter of intent, gather documents for buyer’s due diligence, review purchase agreement and negotiate deal points. • Analyze operation data and financial statements to perform business valuations. Perform valuations for estate planning, bank financing, and third-party sale. Use a combination of valuation methods including: exit multiples, discounted cash flow and comparative asset valuation. Will look at different operatorial and financial ratios to compare how these compare to other businesses within the industry. Performed over 50 different valuations ranging from $100,000 - $5,000,000 EBITDA. • Preformed market research studies for retail propane companies to find favorable location for market entry using census data. This includes creating maps to show most favorable block groups, census tracts, or zip codes based on median income, population growth, housing growth, heat type households and changes between these characteristics year over year. • Created transportation feasibility model to project the profitability if a company were to operate their own transport company. This was a 10-year projection based on historical gallons.
