work in the food waste anaerobic digestion industry, operating and maintaining a process plant that handles a range of organic feedstocks, including food waste from commercial and domestic sources as well as green waste. These materials are treated through controlled biological processes to produce renewable energy and biofertiliser. My role involves day-to-day operation of the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous running, alongside monitoring performance and responding to process changes. I also carry out hands-on maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and processing machinery to maintain reliable operation and minimise downtime. 🌿♻️🌱
