Founder, Skynode Partners | Building Distributed Urban Infrastructure for Inference, Telecom & Broadcasting

New York City Metropolitan Area

About

Building the urban inference layer in America’s highest-value cities. I am the founder of Skynode Partners, where we convert underutilized urban building infrastructure — rooftops, mechanical spaces, electrical capacity, risers, and secure back-of-house areas — into distributed edge colocation, AI inference, and communications nodes. The thesis is simple: the next layer of digital infrastructure will not live only in remote data center campuses. As AI inference, private networks, broadcast, public-safety communications, real-time video, and latency-sensitive enterprise workloads move closer to users, cities need carrier-neutral infrastructure inside the urban fabric. Skynode aggregates controlled building sites in markets such as New York, Miami, and Chicago and turns them into powered, connected, operationally managed nodes for compute, communications, and interconnection. Before Skynode, I founded and sold TowerIQ, a specialty RF hardware and emergency communications company serving high-rise construction. TowerIQ developed and manufactured systems that integrated fire alarms with two-way radio communications in complex building environments. I built the company from an unmet code requirement into a national business, creating novel regulated hardware products, establishing distribution, securing approvals, and leading the company through its sale and post-acquisition integration. My career has consistently sat at the intersection of real estate, regulated infrastructure, wireless systems, construction, advanced hardware, software, and technical sales. I have built rooftop radio sites, public-safety communications systems, RF products, quantum control systems, and go-to-market channels for technical products that have to work in the real world — not just in a slide deck. I am interested in conversations with building owners, data center and AI infrastructure developers, telecom and wireless operators, capital partners, and customers looking for dense urban power, connectivity, and deployment locations close to end users. Dual citizen of the United States and the Netherlands.

Rebranded from Crossband Consultants, we support urban connectivity by licensing, building, and operating urban rooftop infrastructure across major U.S. cities—turning underutilized rooftop and back of house space into low-risk, incremental revenue for property owners. We provide ready-to-deploy sites for broadcast transmission, private networks and high-capacity data links, and edge colocation/compute, plus experimental rooftop capabilities such as drone docking and sensing. For operators and end users, we simplify the entire process of site acquisition, engineering coordination, access/security, power and connectivity readiness, and long-term site management—so critical equipment can be deployed quickly and run reliably, locations include but are not limited to:

Led the inception, growth, and sale of TowerIQ, a groundbreaking venture focused on addressing unfulfilled regulatory requirements within the American construction space. The company's mission, encapsulated by the tagline "Signal Where It Matters," revolutionized the integration of fire alarms and two-way radio communications in high-rise construction. We conceived and introduced new products, expertise, and standard practices at the intersection of high-rise construction, fire alarm systems, and two-way radio communications. Strategic Bootstrapping: Initiated TowerIQ from the ground up, beginning with zero employees and limited resources, even utilizing a "stolen conference room table" as a workspace. Orchestrated the company's remarkable growth, expanding it to over 50 employees across four locations spanning two continents, plus Taiwanese and Chinese contract manufacturers. Strategic Partnerships: Forged strategic channels by integrating TowerIQ's solutions into the distribution networks of existing fire alarm manufacturers. Spearheaded industry-wide training initiatives, enabling rapid adoption and implementation of TowerIQ products by empowering partners to offer an entirely new product category to their clients. Hardware, Software, and Cloud Products: Guided development on the company's unmatched vertically integrated catalog of products. Including software-defined radio transmitters, universal fire-alarm control panels, local and cloud-based technician deployment tools inclusive of radio propagation simulation function. Remarkable Sales Growth: Instrumental in propelling TowerIQ's strong growth, achieving a pinnacle of $20 million in sales.
