Hi Everyone! My name is Connor Rokos, and I am a recent graduate of Stanford University. At Stanford I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Computer Science with a cumulative GPA of 3.96. During my time on campus, I was a member of the Political Science Research Group on campus, conducting research with a focus in survey methodology and American public opinion on global warming. I was also a member of the Stanford Axe Committee, an organization to assist the Stanford Athletics department and to promote school spirit amongst the students. I am a critical thinker and problem-solver who loves to use my interdisciplinary background to approach challenges using a more analytical and holistic lens. I have experience in academic research, marketing analytics, data analysis, and project management. My technical experience include work with tools such as Google Analytics, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Office, and I also have a background with computer programming in Python, C++, C, Java, and R-Studio. My outside interests include reading, hiking, professional basketball, and music. Nothing helps me to take a break from the demands of everyday life like walking on a trail through a beautiful forest or being pulled into the world of a good book. Travelling has also been an essential part of my life, allowing me to expand my horizons and see new perspective. I have been to more than 15 countries and even lived in Riga, Latvia for an internship last summer.
- Led and a team of 5 undergraduate researchers in scraping online databases for survey questions relating to American public opinion on global warming - Converted survey research data into visualizations in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and compiled findings into presentations for prominent news organizations - Updated and maintained the lab website in WordPress, making improvements to both content and structure - Performed in-depth literature reviews on topics such as global warming legislation and effective strategies for cutting corporate carbon emissions - Designed and tested surveys in Qualtrics - Proofread manuscripts before they were sent in to journals for publication - Presented survey results to prominent faculty in the Stanford Political Science department

- Managed the comprehensive process of T-shirt screen-printing from prepping screens for design application to administering designs onto T-shirts, resulting in the expedient and accurate fulfillment of orders of 400+ T-shirts - Trained new employees to apply designs onto shirts using proper industry techniques with trainees showing high proficiency within a couple shifts - Performed customer transactions and provided assistance to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all patrons, with many customers showing a high rate of return - Handled custodial duties within the screen-printing facilities, minimizing risk of contaminating the products and preventing workplace hazards for employees
