I have extensive experience in ALTA surveys for commercial clients, topographic surveys for development projects including school expansions, road/bridge/utility construction surveys, and boundary surveys from lot surveys to large tracts consisting of thousands of acres. Other experience includes subdivision platting, route surveys, FEMA Elevation Certificates for residential and commercial properties, construction layout, pipeline right-of-way and alignments, and oil/gas well location and as-drilled plats. Assist in the daily operations of running the business as well as pivoting back to boundary/land title/development type surveys. Perform large acreage/ranch surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivisions, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
Project manager for pipeline, well, and facility projects. Coordinate field crews in the collection of data for staking pipelines, well locations, facility site acquisition, and facility construction layout. Prepare pipeline right-of-way plats/legal descriptions, alignment sheets, as-built plats, well location plats, unit plats/descriptions, and as-drilled well plats.
Responsible for the day to day operations for the Lufkin Survey Department including marketing, proposals, contract administration, employee management, and project coordination.
Project manager for topographic, boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, and subdivision plats throughout the State of Texas. Manage multiple field crews and office technicians. Plan, execute, and process GPS control surveys. Process and analyze survey field data and produce final deliverables. Responsible for bidding, budgeting, and invoicing projects.
Performed instrument man duties to complete boundary, topographic, and construction staking survey projects and to establish vertical and horizontal control for same. Utilized AutoCAD to draw survey plats. Responsible for courthouse research and writing boundary descriptions. Created and edited DTM surfaces for engineering projects using AutoCAD Land Desktop and produced plan and profile sheets for road, water and sewer construction.
Responsible for the creation and implementation of a Geographic Information System in order to map ownership parcels. This project included extensive courthouse research, applying COGO functions to draw parcels, and using ESRI ArcGIS to rectify the parcels to digital orthophotography. Also responsible for linking data from appraisal software to the GIS.
Created pipeline alignment sheets, centerline plats, and centerline descriptions from information provided by field crews. Also responsible for producing deed sketches and rectifying these sketches to digital orthophotography to identify tract lines.
