My role focuses on supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning by improving attendance, encouraging engagement in school and focusing on mental health. - I work 1:1 or in groups to mentor students and support their emotional wellbeing. - Act as a trusted adult working closely within the pastoral team and identify potential issues early on, supporting the well-being of children and families, with a priority in safeguarding . - I support attendance and engagement, with a focus on enrichment activities tailored to students interests. - I collaboratively work with the wider school community, external agencies and families to provide the best support to students
