I have a deep experience and knowledge of the aerospace industry, working within the industry since 1986, on various commercial and military aviation projects since then. I have been an Engineering manager for small Engineering teams and been closely involved in mentoring/training Interns and new employees. Most recently I supported the Boeing 747-8 Flight Test Engineering program at various locations around the US. I also supported the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus testing program. I recently worked for MD Helicopters, working in Afghanistan supporting the Afghanistan Air Force, the US Army and the US Government. I am currently employed by The Boeing Company as a Senior Liaison/MRB Engineer on the 777/777x program.
• Creates major and minor repairs and substantiations for military customers helicopters for airframe, rotors, controls, and other components. • Support Customer Support field inquiries. • Supports Material Review Board (MRB) for the field. • Develops major and minor repairs for all helicopters in aftermarket and combat environments to meet FAA and other regulatory authority’s requirements. • Supports activities to ensure that design, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, customer, and certification requirements in support of product upgrades and specific repairs. • Liaison for internal and external customer(s) • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment for the design, and investigation of field repairs and support.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies, which include all types of functional tests, parts assemblies and aircraft installations, including structures, mechanical systems, interiors, electrical systems and avionics. • Determine the resolution of parts, etc., incorrectly designed, built, installed or damaged. • Design structural repairs. • Evaluate engineering and production data to determine corrective actions necessary for chronic errors. • Airline customer liaison. • Manufacturing and engineering liaison. • Systems Engineering and Design Engineering. • Co-ordinate, review and approve design revisions to enable improvements in production effectiveness. • Represent engineering on the Materials Review Board (MRB). • 747-8 Program Flight Test Engineering
